The St. Andrews Pipe Band can provide you everything from a solo piper to the entire pipe band and drum corps for your special occasion, whether it’s large or small. All performers wear appropriate Highland dress.
Concerts: A full band of pipes and drums, playing a traditional selection of Highland tunes. A program may include a brief description of the pipes and uniforms, a short question and answer period with the audience. Options can be discussed with the Business Manager and performances tailored to your need.
Parades: A full parade band performance, pipes & drums. The band includes a minimum of five musicians. Please specify if you wish the optional short medley and salute in front of the reviewing stand. A short concert following the parade is also an option.
Exhibition: An exhibition by a piper, drummer, or any combination thereof, up to an ensemble (3-4 pipers, 1-2 drummers). This program gives small groups of people (15-30) a close look at the Great Highland bagpipes or Highland drumming.
Solo Performance: A single piper with or without a drummer. The solo program can be used as a single event, or incorporated into a larger entertainment program.
Funerals – Weddings – Special Occasions: Single pipers or small groups can be arranged for these events, depending on timing and availability of performers.
